Each of our comprehensive levels is designed for deep immersion, typically requiring 8 to 10 weeks to fully master the concepts and complete the hands-on assignments.
Introduction
Stop letting ``Auto Mode`` make the creative decisions for you. This foundational course is designed to strip away the intimidation of modern camera systems. We guide you through the essential mechanics of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, transforming your camera from a complex gadget into a natural extension of your hand. By the end of this 10-week journey, you won't just be taking photos; you’ll be making them. Photo Composition
The difference between a snapshot and a photograph lies in the arrangement of the frame. This course invites you to slow down and ``learn to see`` like an artist. We explore the timeless principles of geometry, balance, and visual rhythm that guide a viewer's eye through an image. Beyond the ``Rule of Thirds,`` you will discover how to use color theory, leading lines, and negative space to tell a compelling story. Portrait Photography

Editing and The Dark Room

Creative Photography or Journalism
Once you have mastered the ``how,`` it is time to explore the ``why.`` This course is an invitation to experiment, push boundaries, and break the traditional rules of photography to find your unique artistic voice. We explore unconventional techniques—from long-exposure intentional camera movement to abstract macro work—encouraging you to use your camera as a paintbrush. Through guided prompts and creative challenges, we help you overcome ``photographer’s block`` and develop a cohesive body of work. Commercial Photography
Transition your passion into a profession with our Commercial Photography module. This course is designed for the student looking to meet the rigorous demands of the modern marketplace. We cover the technical specifics of product, architectural, and editorial photography, with a heavy emphasis on lighting setups and client briefs. Beyond the lens, we discuss the ``service`` side of the industry: managing expectations, delivering high-end results under pressure, and understanding the commercial value of your images. By the end of this 10-week program, you will have the portfolio pieces and the professional confidence to take on your first paid commissions.
